The pass is called the "Merlin Adventure Pass" because it gives you access to attractions that belong to or are operated by Merlin Entertainments Group Deutschland GmbH. The Merlin Adventure Pass gives you 365-day access to 16 Merlin attractions in Germany (please note the opening times, seasons, closing days and exclusion periods of the attractions). With bookable extras, such as the car park option (Parking Pass) for the two theme parks or admission to LEGOLAND® Billund Resort, you can customise the pass to perfectly suit you and your needs.

You can purchase the Merlin Adventure Pass in various ways:

- Online in the webshop of the German Merlin attractions, or

- Directly on site at one of the German Merlin attractions

No, the basic version of the Merlin Adventure Pass is only valid for attractions in Germany. But you have the option of booking additional extras at any time. For example, you can secure one-off, discounted entry to LEGOLAND® Billund Resort in Denmark or Gardaland Resort.

Different access, size and age restrictions apply to different attractions. Detailed information can be found on the website of the respective attraction. In addition, the house and park rules of the attraction apply, which can be viewed on site. Admission to the LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre is only permitted for adults when accompanied by children. Admission to the Dungeons is not recommended for children under the age of 10. Children between the ages of 10 and 14 must be accompanied by an adult (over 18).

The Merlin Adventure Pass is valid immediately after purchase. You will always receive this as a Digi-Pass by e-mail so that it is ready for use immediately.

No, you can still buy the Merlin Adventure Pass on site at one of the German Merlin attractions.

Of course you can! You can only do this on site at one of our German Merlin attractions. The price difference you have to pay is always the price you paid for the local Annual Pass / Season Pass and the full price of the Merlin Adventure Pass. Please note that the new pass is then valid for as long as your previous Annual Pass would have been valid. When upgrading from the Heide Park Season Pass, the following applies: The date of purchase of the Heide Park Season Pass is decisive for the validity of your Merlin Adventure Pass.

IMPORTANT: An upgrade is only possible on site at the attraction where the local Annual Pass / Season Pass was purchased.

If you buy the Merlin Adventure Pass online, you will need an e-mail address and you must enter your contact details during the order process and upload a current and recognisable photo of yourself and all the people who are to receive an Adventure Pass. If you buy the Merlin Adventure Pass on site at one of the 16 German Merlin attractions, your details will be recorded in our system by the staff and a photo will be taken of you. Your digital Merlin Adventure Pass (Digi-Pass) will be sent to you immediately by e-mail. You can also have a plastic card issued on site for an additional charge.

Your Adventure Pass is valid for 365 days, regardless of the month in which you purchase it. Please note the parks' winter breaks (during which the pass cannot be used in the parks) and possible exclusion days.

The Merlin Adventure Pass gives you access to 16 German Merlin attractions for 365 days*. As a Merlin Adventure Pass holder, you also receive a 10% discount on selected shops and restaurants in our attractions. As a Merlin Adventure Pass holder, you will also receive the "Bring a friend" promotion once per term, which allows you to bring up to 10 friends to one of our 16 German Merlin attractions for €15 each.

No, you must book a reservation ticket directly in the Gardaland online shop before your visit. On the day of your visit, you will need a printed copy of your DigiPass at the SALA ACCREDITI in Gardaland Park (a printout of your online ticket is sufficient here) and your reservation ticket. Only then will you pay for your discounted day ticket of €15 and the fun can begin.

If you would like to have the car park option (Parking Pass) included at Heide Park Resort and LEGOLAND® Deutschland Resort, you can secure the benefit directly when you buy a new pass or switch to the Adventure Pass. The function will be automatically added to your pass immediately. Of course, you can also book this benefit later during the entire duration of your pass - but this is only possible on site at one of our attractions.

• When you are at Heide Park Resort, simply show your digital Merlin Adventure Pass to the car park attendant, who will scan it.
• At LEGOLAND® Deutschland Resort, simply scan your Merlin Adventure Pass (barcode) at the exit barrier and it will open automatically.

In some attractions, there are a few days on which admission is only possible with an additional payment. In this case, a discounted ticket must be purchased in advance and presented or scanned together with the Adventure Pass at the entrance on the day of the visit.

Merlin Adventure Pass goes digital! The Merlin Adventure Pass will be a so-called "DigiPass". In other words, if you buy it online or on site at one of our 16 German Merlin attractions, you will receive it by e-mail. When you open the email and the ticket, you can see your DigiPass and add it to your Apple Wallet, for example. When you visit an attraction, simply open your DigiPass and hold it up to the scanner at the turnstile or show it to the employee on site.

You can have a plastic card issued at any of the 16 German attractions at any time during the entire period of validity for a fee of €8. All you have to do is show your DigiPass on site.

You can obtain a plastic card for a fee of €8 at any of the 16 German attractions at any time during the entire duration of the programme. All you have to do is present your DigiPass on site.

When your Merlin Adventure Pass expires, you have the option of extending it for a further 365 days at a discounted renewal price. You can do this between 28 days before and 28 days after your Adventure Pass expires. You can easily do this online here. You can also do this on site directly at the ticket office (indoor attractions) or at the service centre/annual pass office (parks).

Simply visit one of the 16 German Merlin attractions and tell the service team on site your new details. Please bring a valid passport with you.

No, the Merlin Adventure Pass is not transferable. The name and photo of the pass holder are stored on the Adventure Pass so that only the holder can use it. Passing it on is not permitted and will result in the Adventure Pass being withdrawn or cancelled without a refund! Appropriate checks will be carried out on site.

If you have lost your plastic card, please report this immediately to the attraction where the card was issued or send us an email to Merlin.Abenteuerpass@merlinentertainments.biz so that we can block the card. You can only get a replacement card at the attraction where your original plastic card was issued (for a fee).

You always have your Merlin Adventure Pass in digital form. Although you have the option of buying an additional plastic card, you will always have your DigiPass. Therefore, it is not a problem if you have purchased a plastic card and do not have it with you. Simply open your DigiPass on your smartphone and set off on your adventure.

That's no problem. Simply send us an e-mail to Merlin.Abenteuerpass@merlinentertainments.biz with the information about when and where you bought the Adventure Pass. You will then be sent a new online ticket free of charge.

If you have paid with PayPal, your booking confirmation will automatically be sent to your PayPal email address. This is the address registered with PayPal. If you still cannot find an e-mail in your e-mail inbox, simply send us an e-mail to Merlin.Abenteuerpass@merlinentertainments.biz with the information when and where you purchased the Adventure Pass. You will then receive a new online ticket free of charge. Please note that processing may take a few days and is only carried out on working days. Important: Your online ticket can only be resent to your PayPal e-mail address.

At LEGOLAND® Deutschland Resort, we grant one accompanying person free admission if a disabled person's ID card with a B or H sign can be presented to us as proof. Further information, e.g. on the use of rides, can be found on the websites of the respective attractions or directly on site.

In our 14 indoor attractions, the rules are as follows: People with mental or physical disabilities purchase a day ticket (online ticket, on site, sale ticket or similar). If the person with mental or physical disabilities has a "B" entry on their ID card, the accompanying adult is admitted free of charge. Annual pass holders with a "B" ID card are also entitled to a free accompanying person on every visit.

You receive reduced admission to Heide Park Resort if you have a disabled pass. Wheelchair users (permanently seated in a wheelchair; corresponding note in the severely disabled pass) also receive free admission (reservation ticket required). If you have a severely disabled person's pass with the notation "B" and/or "H", we also offer discounted admission for the person accompanying you.

The Merlin Adventure Pass goes digital! Please note that you must upload a photo of the holder for each new pass holder. The passes will be sent directly to your smartphone by email after purchase. When you open the email, you will have the DigiPasses directly on your smartphone and the validity starts immediately after purchase. This means you don't have to do anything on site. If you buy Adventure Passes on site, not everyone who is to receive the pass needs to be present. However, you must bring a photo of the pass holder and be able to complete the details. Please note that the duration of the Adventure Pass starts immediately after purchase.

Please note that admission to the LEGOLAND® Discovery Centres for adults is only permitted when accompanied by children.

In addition, access to the dungeons is not recommended for children under the age of 10. Children aged 10 up to and including 14 years are only admitted when accompanied by an adult (over 18 years).

As a Merlin Premium Annual Pass holder, you can visit LEGOLAND® Billund Resort as often as you like for a whole year.

As a Merlin Premium Annual Pass holder, you have free admission to Gardaland Park once during the term of your Annual Pass. Simply show your Merlin Premium Annual Pass, it will be stamped and your theme park adventure can begin.

With your Merlin Premium Annual Pass, you can jump straight into the adventure without having to queue at the LEGOLAND® Billund Resort ticket office.

As a Merlin Premium Annual Pass holder, you can park free of charge at LEGOLAND® Deutschland Resort and Heide Park Resort. Simply show your valid Merlin Premium Annual Pass to the car park employee at Heide Park Resort and you can park immediately free of charge. At LEGOLAND® Deutschland Resort, you scan your Premium Annual Pass yourself at the exit barrier and you can park for free.

You still have a valid Merlin Premium Annual Pass and would like to take advantage of the birthday special at Heide Park? You must book a reservation ticket for yourself for the day of your visit. For your birthday guests (up to 10 people), please request individual booking codes at least 10 working days in advance using the form. These will then be sent to you and you can redeem the tickets for €15 per person in our online ticket shop. You will then find all the information about the redemption in the e-mail confirmation.

Did you have a birthday in winter (outside the Heide Park season)? Then you can use the birthday special until 30 May 2024. Please request your individual codes in advance using the form.

As a holder of a valid Merlin (Premium) Annual Pass, you have the opportunity to purchase a Merlin Adventure Pass at an attractive one-off exchange offer. You can find current information here.

Please note that a change to the Adventure Pass is only possible 4 weeks before and 4 weeks after your existing annual pass expires. If you receive an error message when booking (e.g. after uploading the photo), this is formulated in very general terms. Please be sure to check our Validity Calculator, to find out how long your card is valid for. We have made various extensions due to corona closures, so it is not entirely clear to some how long the card is still valid.

If you are unable to present your annual pass when entering the attraction due to loss, theft or forgetting, you will unfortunately not be able to enter the attraction free of charge. If your Merlin Annual Pass is lost or stolen, the respective attraction will issue a replacement Annual Pass. Replacement annual passes can only be issued at the attraction where the original annual pass was issued. A fee of €5.00 will be charged for the issue of a replacement annual pass.

You can redeem your online ticket at Heide Park Resort within the season in which you purchased the online ticket. If you have purchased it outside the season (winter months), you can redeem it in the following season.

For our indoor attractions, you have 3 months from the date of purchase to exchange it for a personalised annual pass.

At LEGOLAND® Deutschland Resort, online tickets from the past three years are accepted in exceptional cases. The tickets can only be redeemed after verification on site. A service fee may be charged, depending on the date of issue of the tickets.
