25 Years of Colossos - The Path to the Giant

A quarter of a century of pure adrenaline, thundering speed, and unforgettable moments: Colossos turns 25 years old!

Get ready for a journey through the history of our wooden roller coaster:

Facts: Colossos - who would have thought that...

  • Colossos has traveled a distance of 1,625,000 km in 25 years, thereby circling the Earth almost 41 times and covering more than four times the distance from the Earth to the Moon.
  • Colossos has completed approximately 1.3 million rides in 25 years.
  • The G-force acting on the body during the ride is temporarily comparable to the launch of a space shuttle.
  • Fastest yo-yo effect: An 80-kilogram passenger briefly weighs up to 360 kilograms while traveling through the valleys on Colossos. At the highest points, however, they are almost weightless.
  • In clear visibility, you can see from Colossos all the way to Bad Fallingbostel (27 kilometers away).
