Extended opening hours for Halloween!
On five very special days, the fantastic Halloween party goes on even longer. On these days, Heide Park Resort is open from 12 noon to 9 p.m.:
Saturday, 10 October / Saturday, 17 October / Saturday, 24 October / Friday, 30 October / Saturday, 31 October
Some attractions close at dusk from around 5 p.m., including all water attractions or attractions located near water that cannot be seen in the dark. (This applies to: raft ride, whitewater ride, mountain rafting, dragon cave, ToPiLauLa, Captain's Cruise, Panorama Railway, Monorail, Heide Park Express and Bounty)
*The park closes one hour later.

For five days during the event period, you will have the opportunity to experience our attractions from 12 PM to 9 PM* and immerse yourself in a unique atmosphere.

Camp and hotel guests can exclusively enter the park from 11 AM and access selected attractions. Some attractions close at dusk, including all water attractions or those located near water, as well as attractions that are not visible at night. Subject to change.
If you have a day ticket, you are of course welcome to stay in the park until closing time on Halloween days when the park is open until 10 p.m.

If you're coming from Hamburg via bus or train, we recommend getting off at Wolterdingen (HAN) and walking the rest of the way to the park. If you are traveling by car, take the A7 and exit at Soltau-Ost. From there, the way to the Heide Park Resort is clearly signposted. Be sure to read our Directions and Parking page ahead of your visit so you can plan your route.
Yes. During standard daytime opening hours, families can enjoy the Halloween atmosphere, decorations, food trucks, the children's programme and entertainment shows. The Scare Zone and horror mazes come to life later, from around 4 p.m. onwards, so daytime visits are ideal for younger children.
The Scare Zone and horror mazes at Heide Park Resort Halloween are separate, optional areas of the park. Families who prefer a gentler visit can enjoy the rides, children's programme, decorations and shows without entering the scarier zones.
Yes. Entertainment and shows during the Halloween event are included as part of your standard park admission.
