Dear adventurers,

we are very happy to finally be able to open the gates for you again, albeit with an 8-week delay and - due to Covid-19 – under slightly different circumstances than we had hoped.

The safety and health of our guests and employees has always been a top priority. In accordance with the requirements of the state government, we have taken and implemented extensive hygiene and safety measures.

On the following pages you will find all essential information regarding the planning of your visit, further details on the measures taken, applicable rules of conduct during your stay and possible restrictions.

Attention! Please mind the following rules:

  • Admission only with pre-booked online tickets (dated and timed) - No ticket sales at tills on site
  • If you are in possession of a Merlin (Premium) annual pass, a Heide Park (VIP) season pass, a pre-purchased online ticket or any other pre-sale ticket, you must book a reservation ticket for your visit. Without this, admission won’t be granted. To the ticket shop (currently only available in German)

  • When visiting, the original entry ticket / annual pass / season pass and the reservation ticket must be presented. To the ticket shop (currently only available in German)

  • Please bring your personal protective mask with you, as wearing a mask is compulsory on all rides, queue lines, shops and restaurants. Children under the age of 6 are exempt from the obligation to wear a mask. If you don't have your own mask with you, you can of course purchase one from us.

  • If you show any signs of COVID-19 illness, you must not enter Heide Park Resort. If you want to change your booking, please contact our guest service.

Ticket Sales

Access to Heide Park is currently only permitted with a dated online ticket with a dedicated time slot purchased from the official Heide Park Online Ticket Shop. The dated tickets are only valid on the specified day and cannot be used on another day. Our tills are NOT open until further notice.

Please note that the rainy day guarantee does not currently apply to online tickets that are dated.

To the ticket shop (currently only available in German)

  • Birthdays
    Birthday children receive free admission if they can provide proof and possess a valid reservation ticket.

  • Children under 3 years of age
    Children under the age of 3 get free admission if they possess a valid reservation ticket.

  • Guests with special needs and accompanying persons
    Wheelchair users receive free admission if they possess a valid reservation ticket. Accompanying persons and guests with restrictions must purchase a day-dated ticket in advance in the ticket shop.

  • Pre-booked groups without tickets
    Our tills are NOT open until further notice. Groups who do not yet have a ticket must purchase a day-dated online ticket with admission time in the online ticket shop before arrival. Without this, admission won’t be granted.

  • Tickets in combination with a hotel or camp stay
    No additional reservation ticket is necessary.
  • Group tickets, employee benefits, school holiday tickets, accompanying person tickets, press tickets, 2-day tickets and bring-a-friend tickets are currently not available

  • Raffle tickets are excluded from admission until further notice

  • Merlin Magic passes are excluded from admission until further notice

If you want to redeem your promotional coupon/voucher, you can easily do it in our ticket shop: Book the ticket “1-Tages-Ticket: Promotion”. You will then receive a 50% discount on the regular ticket price of € 49 per person. You must then hand in your voucher on your visit day.

Please note that this ticket is only possible in connection with a valid voucher currently on the market.

To redeem a 2 for 1 voucher, simply book the "1-Tages-Ticket: Promotion" ticket twice.

You must book a reservation ticket (€1) for the day you want to visit. Due to the capacity limitation, we can currently only allow people with a valid dated ticket into the park.

In this fast moving time, we decided to initially only offer a few days for sale. This enables us to react quickly to new situations. Of course, we will regularly make additional dates bookable. If a date or admission time can no longer be booked, the ticket capacity is exhausted. Please choose a different day / admission time.

The dedicated time slots must be strictly observed, as they serve to comply with the requirements for maintaining a safe distance. If you miss your entry time, our employees on site will try their best to help you get in after your time slot has passed.

The online tickets and reservation tickets are used to comply with the requirements for capacity and spacing. A spontaneous arrival without an online ticket cannot guarantee admission. If you arrive without a valid online ticket or a valid reservation ticket, you can purchase an online ticket or reservation ticket on site using your smartphone in our ticket shop, if there are still availabilities.

Unfortunately, the services of the Express Butler cannot be offered until further notice.

All Express Butler sold so far remain valid for 2020 season but cannot be used until further notice.

Under these circumstances, we will extend all Express Butler Unlimited that are valid from March 28 2020 to account for the period of time that our attraction is closed. Your Express Butler Unlimited is currently being extended by 3 months (90 days). We’ll be taking care of this for you, so there’s no need to get in touch with our customer service team.

General:

Baby switch pass, Schwer-in-Ordnung pass, Express Butler and photo sales cannot be offered until further notice. Annual pass sales, upsells and extensions are possible at the service center.

Rides: Subject to change

The list and number of rides available can vary daily.

Rides may not start until later in the day.

Closed until further notice: Dampfkarussell, La Ola,  Peppas Haus, Panoramaturm, Drachengrotte, Ghostbusters 5D, Wüstenflitzer.

There may be longer waiting times due to increased cleaning and disinfection measures.

Masks are required in the queue lines and on the rides. Scarves etc. are not permitted here as face mask.

Food & Beverages: Subject to change

Until further notice, we will only offer food and drinks on a "To Go" basis. Outside seating areas are available and have been reconfigured according to the distancing rules and are cleaned regularly

The list and number of available catering options can vary daily.

Souvenir shops:

The list and number of available souvenir shops can vary daily.

Please take into account that our shops will have limited number of people allowed in the shops at the same time.

Shows & Entertainment:

Meet & Greet are canceled until further notice and the Abenteuerzelt will remain closed for the time being. We are currently working on a new entertainment concept.

  • We have implemented hygiene and safety measures for all rides
  • Employees in direct contact with guests will wear personal protective equipment and are also instructed to keep their distance where possible.
  • Critical areas on the ride, such as handles, lap bar, etc. are regularly disinfected by the employees.
  • In order to maintain distance amongst guests, trains will not be fully loaded and seats / rows of seats might remain unoccupied.
  • Please follow the instructions of the on-site staff at all times, for your own safety and to protect the staff

Wearing a mask is mandatory in all rides, employment areas, shops and in the catering trade. Children under the age of 6 are exempt from the obligation to wear a mask. Should you not be able or not allowed to wear a mask for health reasons, we are unfortunately not allowed to allow you to enter the park due to restrictions. We ask for your understanding. As soon as the requirements are relaxed and there is no longer a requirement for a mask, we will of course welcome you.

Of course, you can bring your own disinfectants to disinfect your hands during your stay or after the roller coaster ride. Our employees regularly disinfect hangers etc. in our attractions. Please understand that the use of your brought disinfectants is only allowed for your personal use and not for disinfection in the rides.

Our F&B outlets and shops will be open for you, but there will be maximum guest capacity per outlet. We installed hygiene screens in the checkout and food distribution areas. The general rules keeping distance also apply here.

  • In order to create enough space between you and the next guest, we have redesigned our seating areas. This may result in fewer capacities being available.
  • Self-service is only possible with packaged food offers.
  • All areas / points of contact that are in frequent guest contact e.g. Tables, counters, handrails, elevator buttons, EC devices, toilet buildings / changing rooms etc. are cleaned regularly.

If you are in possession of a Merlin (Premium) annual pass, a Heide Park (VIP) season pass, a pre-purchased online ticket, Legoland Billund Season Pass or any other pre-sale ticket, you must book a reservation ticket for your visit. If you are in possession of a Heide Park (VIP) season pass, you must book a reservation ticket (€1) for your visit. Without this, admission won’t be granted.

As our attraction is closed, we will be extending all 2020 season passes bought before March 28 2020 to account for the period of time that our attractions are closed. We’ll be taking care of this for you, so there’s no need to get in touch with our customer service team. Your existing passes will be automatically extended in our ticketing system – so once we reopen, your 2020 season pass reprinted.

The number days added to your 2020 season pass will be based on the duration of the closures from March 28 2020 (the plannsed season start). For example:

We will add 30 days if our park remains closed for 30 days.

The exclusion dates of the 2021 season pass then also apply to the 2020 season pass.

All Merlin (Premium) annual passes sold online so far remain valid. The validity of your annual pass starts with your first visit and then runs for one year. You still have the entire 2020 season to redeem your online ticket for a Merlin (Premium) annual pass.

In addition to the 4 months (120 days) extension we grant you due to the closing time of the attractions and the subsequent admission restrictions in some attractions, we will extend relevant Merlin annual passes as follows:
Annual passes that expire after the automatic, free extension between November 2, 2020 and the opening of the park in 2021 will be extended by April 30, 2021.

We take care of this extension for you. The extension is carried out automatically in the ticket system, so you don't have to worry about a thing. It is not necessary to have the Merlin annual card printed again. The new expiry date of your Merlin annual card is automatically stored correctly in the system.

If you are in possession of a Merlin Premium Annual Pass and would like to use the birthday special, you must book a reservation ticket with admission time (€ 1.00 per person). For your birthday guests (up to 10 people) you have to book an online ticket with admission time (€ 15.00 per person) for your visit day. Without this, admission is unfortunately not possible.

Please note the following regulations: We have adjusted the options for the 2020 season for the birthday special of the Merlin Premium Annual Pass. Not only birthday children who have a birthday outside the Heide Park Resort season 2019 (from November 4th, 2019), but also birthday children who have a birthday up to and including June 30th, can redeem the birthday special until June 30th, 2020. The Heide Park Resort must be informed in advance by email. Only after receiving a confirmation from Heide Park Resort can the birthday special be used in these circumstances. Birthday children who have a birthday within the opening hours can still redeem the offer up to 8 days after their birthday. A prior registration by email is not necessary. Booking online tickets in advance is still necessary, and it is sufficient if the birthday child bought a Merlin or Merlin Premium Annual Card online during the closing time. This must be exchanged for a valid annual card or upgraded to a Merlin Premium annual card no later than the day on which the birthday special is to be used (until June 30, 2020).

If you are in possession of a Legoland Billund Season Pass 2020, you need to book a reservation ticket (1€ p.P.) for your visit. Without this, admission won’t be granted.

Please select the ticket “Vorgebuchtes Online-Ticket”.

When visiting, the original Legoland Billund Season Pass 2020, your voucher and the reservation ticket must be presented.

Of course, there is still the possibility that you can get a discount of the price of your regular online ticket when buying a season / annual pass.

Visitors of the Abenteuerhotel

As the safety and health of guests and employees have always been a top priority for us, we will introduce additional hygiene and safety measures. We are thus fulfilling the requirements imposed on us by the State of Lower Saxony to contain the corona virus. We will do everything we can to make your stay as pleasant and, above all, as safe as possible.

  • If you show any signs of COVID-19 illness, you must not enter the Heide Park Adventure Hotel. If you want to change your booking, please contact our guest service
  • Guided queue lines at reception and in the restaurants with a marked distance
  • Masks are mandatory in all queue lines (reception, buffet, park entrance)
  • Cashless payment is possible and recommended everywhere
  • 1 person rule (vs whole family / social group) in queue line at reception
  • Installation of hygiene screens at reception
  • Regular disinfectant cleaning of all contact surfaces for guests and employees (e.g. handrails, elevator buttons, etc.)
  • Maximum number of guests in each area
  • Restricted guest numbers in elevators
  • Installation of hand disinfectant dispensers throughout the hotel and supply of disinfectant soap in lavatories

  • We are now offering self-service at the buffet. It is need that you disinfect your hands every time BEFORE you use the buffet, you need to wear a mask at the buffet and keep the necessary distances.
  • Reduced number of tables in the restaurant, bar and on the terrace in order to comply with the distance rules

  • Spaßbad (Indoor Pool) and indoor and outdoor playground must remain closed until further notice.
  • No early park opening for hotel guests
  • Kinderschatzsuche (children's treasure hunt), shows and the Meet & Greet with Wumbo or Peppa cancelled until further notice

If you have booked your overnight stay including entry to the park, you do not have to book a separate reservation ticket.

If you have not booked the entry to the park, you can get a ticket at the reception desk, so you won't have to buy an online-ticket. If you're the owner of an Annual Pass / Season Pass, you can get a free ticket at the reception desk.

For overnight stays booked at the Heide Park Adventure Hotel or Holiday Camp with arrival up to and including May 24, 2020, we have adjusted our rebooking conditions. We offer you to reschedule the overnight stays to another date in the 2020 season (June 1 until November 2) free of charge (on request and subject to availability). In the event of limited availability of the desired date or the desired room category, the difference to the current daily room rate can be charged. Please use this form - we will get back to you as soon as possible.

The contractually agreed terms and conditions apply to arrivals from May 25, 2020.

Dear adventurers, the season has started and we are very happy that you are enjoying our park, the Adventure Hotel and Holiday Camp. Please take into account that we must continue to comply with the requirements of the state government. In accordance with these requirements, we have taken and implemented extensive hygiene and safety measures.

Please inform yourself before your visit about all applicable regulations and measures, validity of tickets, restrictions on site and much more.

Since we still receive a very large number of inquiries, it takes much longer to process your inquiries than you are used to. However, we are constantly expanding our FAQ on the website so that you can hopefully find the right answers to your questions there quickly and easily.
