All tickets sold so far remain valid. They are undated and can be used throughout the 2020 season - this also applies to seasonally booked (VIP) season passes and Merlin (premium) annual passes. The validity of your annual cards starts with your first visit to us and then runs for one year. Your season passes will of course continue to be valid every day during our opening hours in 2020 (except on exclusion days). As our attractions are closed, we will be extending all Merlin Annual Passes that are active from March 17 2020 to account for the period of time that our attractions are closed. We’ll be taking care of this for you, so there’s no need to get in touch with our customer service team. Your existing Passes will be automatically extended in our ticketing system – so once our attractions reopen, your Passes will scan as normal at the ticket barriers. You are not required to have your Merlin Annual Pass cards reprinted.

The number of months added to your Merlin Annual Passes will be based on the duration of the attraction closures from where you bought your Merlin Annual Pass. For example:
• We will add 1 month extra for a closure up to 4 weeks
• We will add 2 months extra for a 5 – 8 week closure
• We will add 3 months extra for a 9 – 12 week closure

You will then be able to renew your Merlin Annual Pass within the 4 weeks prior and after the new expiry date.

We have adjusted the options for the 2020 season for the birthday special of the Merlin Premium Annual Pass. Birthday children who have a birthday outside the Heide Park Resort season 2019 (from November 4th, 2019) can redeem the birthday special up to 1 month after the start of the season. The Heide Park Resort must be informed in advance by email. Birthday children who have a birthday within the opening hours can redeem the offer up to 8 days after their birthday. It is also sufficient if the birthday child bought a Merlin or Merlin Premium Annual pass online during the closing time. This must be exchanged to a valid annual pass or upgraded to a Merlin Premium Annual Pass on the day on which the birthday special is to be used (until May 31 2020). Only then can the discounted tickets be purchased at the day ticket office upon presentation of the valid Merlin Premium Annual Pass.

As of April 4 2020, 08.00 am.
