A desert emerged in the green Lüneburger Heath: Since May 2007 the big adventure of ‘Desert Race’ awaits you at Heide Park. Germany’s unique accelerator is one of a kind and arised on the verge of the theme park next to ‘Colossos’ – the largest wooden rollercoaster in the world. North Germanys biggest theme park invested 15 million euros in this sensational ride, which was built by the famous Swiss company Intamin. The breathtaking ride is 640 meters long and “only” 19 meters high but it is fast.
